Non-Fungible Tokens are digital assets sold in limited supply on the NFT marketplace generally bought with cryptocurrency. When bought, there is a cryptographic record that is encoded into the blockchain that represents one’s ownership of the unique item i.e. it’s as if one owns the deed to a house.

movienftz is a web 3.0 company that enables production companies & distributors to exclusively license their movie posters as NFTs, providing audiences with an innovative way to own, trade, and engage with cinema. 

Our ambition with movienftz is to create an industry-standard NFT distribution channel that provides meaningful ownership as well as valuable beyond-the-movie experiences through utility.

Holders at certain times might gain access to view private BTS footage / deleted scenes, online screenings, Q&As with cast / crew, merchandise et cetera. In 2023, when we plan to set up our DAO, the first owners of the NFTs will gain votes to influence where our DAO’s holdings will be spent.

A Decentralized Autonomous Organization or (DAO) is a system controlled by the organization members (community) and not influenced by a central government (e.g. movienftz). We will be implementing a DAO in 2023 to let our community decide where 10% of movienftz income will be spent. Voting will take place at the end of each year.

Each poster is exclusively licensed by the specific owner(s) of the IP.

The poster IP will always remain under the ownership of the specific Licensor(s).
